Week 6: There's an app for that

know where it came from or who was involved? Well my idea is to create a small description that would explain who was involved in the pic as best it can, where it came from (or site it originated from), who the author or artist was and where other images just like it can be found. Sure you could look at view image and see where that one image came from but you wouldn't know much more than that aside from the image size and the background color involved. With this app or method it could help cut down the amount of time it would take someone to actually find where the image originally came from and of course who the artist/photographer and if possible who the people involved were so they would have an idea of where to start. Sites looking to be in involved with a certain image or picture could request to have their site included in part of the description as a form of advertising in a way. That way people could know not only where the image came from originally but what other sites it would be involved with. Something like this would probably best work with search engines such as Google for example. Again, I feel like this is something that could help with people wanting ways of getting information faster on top of wanting it summarized.

Week 6 BOC: 5 tips to increase traffic to your website

1. Setup twitters account for clients so and constantly update it with recent and interesting news that would draw in clients. You can aim to get people to follow the client's interest by first focusing on the group of people that have the same thing in common with the client.

2. Find a forum group that shares a certain business with yours such as for example if you sell certain games as a product you could find a forum devoted to those kind of games and get clients through that.

3. Shameless self promoting can help garner attention as it shows value and quality to whatever your business or website is.

4. Using and exploiting google services to promote your website and/or product.

5. Build an opt in email address which unlike spam mail allows you to promote your business or site in bulk at the request of the visitor or customer. This would allow him or her to receive or see special offers or newsletters.

Week 5, Video Project

The assignment of creating a video and posting on youtube didn't exactly go as planned for many reasons. For one me and my partner didn't exactly have a full solid plan of what the 30 second video would be all about exactly. Sure we had an idea of what we wanted but our views on how we would go about doing it differed. We also didn't meet as much as we should to explain and talk about the project. Also i was indifferent about our idea during the later part of the week and was more interested in doing something that would garner a lot of attention and views. Something like a viral video i slowly began to draw away from the original idea we had at the start and wanted to make something different. I tried to do that project along with the one we were originally planning to do but i became split in both and again i didn't exactly communicate with my partner. For some odd reason during these past few weeks i have had a hard time focusing on much of anything really. It takes a lot of effort to keep myself targeted on one thing at a time and find myself thinking of many things at the same time. While i would be working on something i would almost immediately think of another project or homework that is due and jump on that then think of something else and jump on that just as quickly.

One way i found how two IP addresses can connect with each other is through a network. All computers of course connected through a network have different IP addresses. In order for two computers to connect you need to access one computer to another through a communication protocol or router table. A router table is basically the electronic table stored in routers or a network computer. It stores the routes to certain network destinations.
